Instructions for Use
- Plan gate handing and hinge positions; mark heights on the pier as you build.
- Bed the hook unit into fresh mortar at the marked courses, ensuring adequate embedment and full mortar cover.
- Set pin projection and plumb/level alignment so the gate will hang true; allow mortar to cure fully.
- Hang the gate on matching hook & band hinges; check swing and adjust final course joints if needed.
Limitations & Precautions
- Install only into sound, properly laid brick or blockwork; ensure full mortar encapsulation.
- Select pin Ø and band size appropriate to gate size and weight; use pairs at top and bottom.
- Not intended for fixing to existing, fully cured masonry—use bolt-on plates or resin anchors for retrofits.
