Chun-Li is one of the most recognizable and celebrated characters in the Street Fighter video game series, renowned as the first female fighter in the franchise and a groundbreaking figure in gaming history. Debuting in Street Fighter II (1991), Chun-Li quickly became famous for her athleticism, strength, and strong sense of justice.
Chun-Li is an Interpol detective from China, skilled in martial arts and driven by a personal quest to bring down the Shadaloo criminal organization and its leader, M. Bison, who was responsible for her father’s death. She is known for her powerful kicking techniques, including the iconic Hyakuretsukyaku (Lightning Kick) and Spinning Bird Kick, making her one of the most technically impressive fighters on the roster.
Her distinctive design—blue qipao dress with spiked bracelets, ox-horn buns, and muscular legs—has become instantly recognizable in gaming culture.
