EVERBUILD® EVERFLEX® 175 Universal Acrylic Sealant is a high-quality, water-based acrylic sealant designed for sealing and filling gaps and cracks in a wide range of building materials. Suitable for both internal and external applications, it provides a permanently flexible, long-lasting seal that adheres to virtually all substrates. Its anti-fungal formula resists mould growth, making it ideal for areas of high humidity.

Product Details

• Colours: White, Brown (only available in 300ml size).
• Packaging: 300ml and 380ml cartridges.
• Application Temperature: +4°C to +40°C.
• Density: 1.67–1.71 g/cm³.
• Solid Content: 80–84%.
• Shore A Hardness: Approximately 40.
• Elongation at Break: >100% (ISO8339).
• Movement Capability: Low to medium (±7.5%) EN15651-1:2012.
• Shelf Life: Up to 36 months when stored in unopened cartridges under cool, dry conditions.

Application Instructions

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and other contaminants. Highly porous surfaces should be primed with a diluted Everbuild PVA Bond (1:4 with water).
2. Application: Cut the nozzle to the required width and apply using a standard sealant gun. Smooth the sealant with a wet spatula or finger within 15 minutes of application.
3. Drying Time: Tack-free in 15–60 minutes, depending on ambient conditions. Full cure achieved in 3–5 days.

Limitations

• Not suitable for use in areas of constant water immersion.
• Not recommended for use below ground level or in areas of high abrasion (e.g., floor joints).
• Do not apply when rain is imminent.
• Not suitable for use in conjunction with bituminous materials.

Cleaning of Tools

Clean tools and excess sealant with water immediately after use. Cured sealant must be removed mechanically.
