This amazingly detailed model was designed by 3DArtGuy and takes inspiration from the Grimdark universe's Lord of Drakes; Vulkan, Primarch of the XVIIIth Legion Astartes, the Salamanders. 

Vulkan, the Primarch of the Salamanders Legion in Warhammer 30k, is renowned as one of the most resilient and compassionate figures of the Great Crusade. Discovered on the volcanic death world of Nocturne, Vulkan grew up among its people, learning the art of smithing and the value of protecting the weak. His early life forged his enduring connection to craftsmanship, fire, and the survival of humanity against impossible odds.

When reunited with the Emperor during the Great Crusade, Vulkan was given command of the XVIII Legion, later known as the Salamanders Space Marines. Under his leadership, the Salamanders became famed not only for their mastery of flame and melta weaponry, but also for their humanitarian approach to war. Vulkan insisted that his warriors safeguard civilians wherever possible, reflecting his belief that the purpose of the Imperium was not conquest alone, but the preservation of humanity.

Vulkan was also known as the Immortal Primarch. Legends tell that he could not be permanently killed, his body and spirit returning even after seemingly fatal wounds. This resilience became symbolic of the Salamanders themselves: enduring, unbreakable, and unyielding in their defence of mankind.

During the Horus Heresy, Vulkan stood as a loyal son of the Emperor. He fought against traitor Legions with unmatched determination, carrying the relics he himself had forged and inspiring his Legion to acts of selfless heroism. His legacy in the 41st Millennium continues to define the Salamanders, who revere him as their eternal Forgefather and model their culture on his ideals of strength, craft, and compassion.

This proxy comes as a single piece or in parts. 

Available as an unpainted 28-32mm (table top) or 145mm (statue) scaled figure.
