The genuine Alfatronix PV-USB2 is a compact, charger-only module for permanently installed 12V or 24V DC systems. It converts a 9–32V input to a regulated 5V USB-A supply and is intended for hidden installation behind a dashboard, control panel or inside protected equipment—not as a decorative panel-mount socket.

Does this fit both 12V and 24V systems?
Yes. No manual voltage selection is required, provided the live supply remains within 9–32V DC.
Is this a visible dashboard USB socket?
No. PV-USB2 is the charger-only hidden module intended for protected under-dash or behind-panel installation.
Will it fast-charge a USB-C laptop?
No. It provides standard 5V USB-A charging up to 2.1A and does not support USB Power Delivery or proprietary high-voltage fast-charge modes.
Can it be installed where it may get wet?
No. Its IP30 rating requires a dry, protected mounting location.
Installation note: Isolate the supply before wiring, observe polarity and protect the feed with the correct fuse for the conductor and installation.
