About the author
Rachael Thomas is a dedicated primary school teacher from Liverpool with a lifelong passion for education. With years of experience in nurturing young minds, Rachael has always found joy in supporting children's development and helping them reach their full potential. Her commitment to education began at an early age, volunteering in local schools where she discovered her love for teaching.
Rachael recently expanded her impact on young lives by becoming an English author. Her debut children's poetry book, Being Me, is a heartfelt exploration of emotions designed to help children understand and embrace their feelings. Through its thoughtful verses, Being Me encourages children to recognise that it's okay to have dreams and fears, to feel weird or wonderful, and to experience moments of sadness or loneliness. The book empowers young readers to appreciate that these experiences are what make them unique.
