Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity - Nintendo Switch

Witness the dramatic events of the Great Calamity firsthand in Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity for Nintendo Switch. Serving as a crucial narrative prequel set exactly one hundred years before the events of The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, this high-energy action title blends the tactical hack-and-slash gameplay of Omega Forces musou series with the rich world, characters, and lore of Hyrule. Take command of an elite roster of heroes including Link, Princess Zelda, and the legendary Four Champions—Mipha, Revali, Daruk, and Urbosa—to battle against the overwhelming forces of Calamity Ganon.

The gameplay delivers large-scale battlefield management mixed with deep mechanical combat depth. Execute devastating light and heavy weapon combos, perform perfectly timed Flurry Rushes, and counter massive enemy monsters using integrated Sheikah Slate runes like Stasis, Cryonis, Magnesis, and Remote Bombs tailored to each characters fighting style. Between massive army skirmishes, locate hidden Korok Seeds scattered throughout the maps, unlock upgrades at the military blacksmith, and take control of the colossal Divine Beasts to obliterate thousands of enemy troops in spectacular, screen-clearing set pieces. Fight through the tragic historical campaign entirely alone or team up with a ally in local split-screen two-player co-op multiplayer mode.
