The finish on this one has some really deep purples and blues making a perfect stormy backdrop to that pure nickel lightening bolt. This has to be one of my personal favourites in the new collection, both to look at and to use. The top of the handle fits the palm of the hand really well, and with a smooth transition from handle to blade, It's super comfortable for a pinch grip hold allowing for precision control of that lightweight blade and thin edge.

The blade has a food-safe wax finish to help preserve the colouring and remove the need for oiling during daily use, this can be topped up with our Leather and Knife Balm. The handle can be removed for repairs and maintenance and with proper care, it will last a lifetime. 80crv2 is a tough steel so you don’t have to be too worried about chipping it despite the thin edge although high quality knives should always be treated with respect. Like most carbon steels, it is easy to sharpen and keep a hair-popping edge.
