As part of our expanding Yaris GR product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our Closed Air Induction System suitable for track or fast road use.

Developed in-house at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we’ve created a comprehensive solution to improving flow whilst maintaining low intake temperatures, which improves performance, response, sound and aesthetics within the engine bay.

Having previously designed a shielded induction kit for the Yaris GR model, we were keen to develop a more extensive intake package to offer further improvements.

Using our experience from developing and producing our WRC-inspired Closed Air Induction System (CAIS) for the Focus RS that is proven to dramatically increase power and torque, we embarked on developing an entire replacement air box carefully moulded to our design in a GRP composite material to help thermal efficiency.

Sealed inside is a large Group-A style cotton air filter that draws fresh air solely from the front intake, ensuring minimal heat soak issues and the lowest possible intake temperatures.

Our design also features a replacement MAF housing and rear intake pipe, both 80mm in diameter and finished in black powder-coated finish. The kit comes complete with high quality Pro Hoses silicone connectors, as well as all fixtures and fittings required for a simple installation.

The kit is a direct replacement that comes complete pre-built and ready to install. It requires no additional drilling or cutting to fit and comes with detailed fitting instructions.

DYNO TESTED
Developed on our own comprehensively modified AIRTEC Motorsport Yaris GR, with the Closed Air Induction System the car produced 335bhp, 5hp more than our open filter induction kit, whilst our thermal imaging camera showed it continued to repel heat build-up from the local area. 

Overall, the result is a complete kit that offers increased power, improved throttle response, heightened induction noise and a more pleasing look to the engine bay that is perfectly suited to the GR.
