Chocolate is a warm, dark brown chosen as an ideal chipping colour — the tone that reads convincingly as bare, weathered metal showing through worn paint. AK's high-pigment 3rd Generation acrylic lays it down matt and smooth by brush or airbrush.
Best for
- Sponge and brush chipping on armour and equipment
- Worn edges and scratches revealing 'bare metal'
- Warm dark brown for wood and leather
Stipple it with a sponge or fine brush on the edges and high-wear points, then add a lighter metal or rust dot inside larger chips. Thin it for airbrush work; matt finish takes washes cleanly.
