Dark Mud Effects is the deepest, richest mud in the range — a ready-mixed enamel for the thick, near-black wet muck that cakes onto anything that's been dragged through a bog. It dries with a slightly textured, damp-looking finish for maximum grime.
Best for
- Heavy, dark caked mud on tracks and lower hulls
- Deep wet muck in wheel wells and running gear
- The shadow layer beneath lighter mud and earth
Stipple it on thick for texture or thin it for splatter, then layer lighter tones over the top for depth. Being enamel it stays workable, so you can build the neglect gradually.
