Antonio Puig Quorum Silver Eau de Toilette 100ml is a warm, woody-spicy flanker to the iconic 1981 Quorum, launched in 2005 as a more contemporary, polished interpretation of the Spanish house's masculine signature. A bright, slightly gingery opening of cardamom, lavender, bergamot and mandarin gives way to a spiced heart of nutmeg, pink pepper and cinnamon, before settling into a smooth base of Virginia cedar, guaiac wood, amber and patchouli.

Antonio Puig — now styled simply as Puig — is a Spanish family-owned beauty company founded in Barcelona in 1914 and today best known internationally for its perfume divisions, which include Carolina Herrera, Paco Rabanne and Jean Paul Gaultier. Quorum was the brand's flagship masculine fragrance, launched in 1981 and a fixture of Spanish men's grooming for decades; Quorum Silver extends that DNA for a more contemporary audience.

How to wear it
Spray onto pulse points — the inner wrists, sides of the neck and chest — from around 15 cm away. Apply to clean, moisturised skin straight after a shower for the longest wear. Two to three sprays balance well; the cedar-and-amber drydown develops over the first hour and rewards a moderate hand.
