Instructions for Use
- Position the base plate; mark and drill the substrate for suitable anchors.
- Fix the shoe down firmly using appropriate anchor bolts/screws for the substrate.
- Insert the post fully and plumb it; tighten clamping bolts evenly to secure.
- Re-check level and tighten after initial settling and during routine inspections.
Limitations & Precautions
- Not a substitute for structural design where uplift or high lateral loads are present—select anchors and shoe size accordingly.
- Use corrosion-appropriate anchors; inspect more frequently in aggressive/coastal environments.
- Cut post ends square; treat end grain with preservative before clamping.
