Carolina Herrera 212 Femme Eau de Toilette is the original women's 212 — a clean, fresh-floral classic launched in 1997 alongside the matching men's version, named after the Manhattan area code that defined cosmopolitan New York at the turn of the millennium. Composed by Alberto Morillas, it opens with bergamot, mandarin and cactus flower, blooms into a soft white-floral heart of gardenia, jasmine, peony and lily-of-the-valley, and settles onto a clean musk-and-sandalwood base. Houses in the recognisable steel-finish aluminium bottle.

Founded in New York in 1981 by Venezuelan-American couturier Carolina Herrera, the house is known for tailored, polished elegance — the white shirt, the red carpet gown.
