Champions of Europe 2008 Badge
This pin badge celebrates Manchester United’s triumph as Champions of Europe in 2008, a year that cemented their place at the summit of world football.
The design prominently features the Champions League trophy (the "big ears") alongside a vintage-style club shield, which includes the iconic merchant ship representing the Manchester Ship Canal.
This historic victory took place in Moscow on 21 May 2008, where United defeated Chelsea in the first-ever all-English final after a dramatic penalty shoot-out.
The 2007–08 season was particularly significant as it marked multiple anniversaries for the club, including the 50th anniversary of the Munich air disaster and the 40th anniversary of their first European Cup win in 1968.
Under the management of Sir Alex Ferguson, the team achieved a remarkable "double," also winning the Premier League title that same year.
