DD Inflatable Mat: Slim Sleeping Mat for Hammock and Bivi Camping
The DD Inflatable Mat is a slim, lightweight sleeping mat with a tapered foot end, so it sits neatly inside your hammock as an insulation pad. It's just as happy on the ground for bivi camping, and at 780g it won't weigh you down on the trail.
Setting up is quick. A secure screw valve at the top lets the mat partially self-inflate, and you can top it up yourself if you'd like it firmer. It's around 1.8m long and about 3cm thick, and comes with a stuff sack.
A quick note on warmth: in a hammock, a mat won't keep you as warm as an underblanket, which DD regards as the best form of hammock insulation. For very cold weather, it's worth considering one.
Care: don't over-inflate the mat, and don't store it in high heat (over 25°C). Please follow the instructions supplied.
