DD SuperLight - Bikepacker Mesh Tent
After a long day in the saddle, the last thing you need is midges. The DD SuperLight Bikepacker Mesh Tent is a lightweight, fully bugproof inner tent for the DD SuperLight Bikepacker Tarp.
At under 500g, you will barely notice it in your saddle pack. With the tarp, you have a fully waterproof and bugproof bikepacking shelter at well under 1kg, and much more comfortable than a bivi bag.
How to set it up
With your bike in place and the tarp pitched, spread the inner out inside and loop the attachment straps over the pegs, adjusting until the floor is taut. A metal peg eyelet at the front extends the floor forward. Connect the apex to your saddle with the included elastic cord to lift the net, unzip and climb in. The straps adjust for a wide range of saddle heights.
Not just for bikes
Walkers and trekkers can use it without a bike: peg it out and attach the net to a tree or hiking pole with the elastic cord.
Please note
The pegs are shared with the Bikepacker Tarp. Using the mesh tent on its own needs 5 extra pegs, such as DD SuperLight Pegs.
