High-Strength, Solvent-Based Grab Adhesive for Interior & Exterior Applications

EVERBUILD® Gun A Nail® Extra is a ready-to-use, high-strength, gap-filling adhesive based on a synthetic rubber/resin mix in a solvent carrier. Designed for both interior and exterior applications, it provides excellent adhesion to most common building materials, including non-porous surfaces.

• Storage Conditions: Store in original unopened containers between +5°C and +25°C. Do not store above +30°C. Store as flammable goods.

Application Instructions

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and other contaminants. New concrete or plaster should be allowed adequate time to dry and mature.
2. Application: Cut the tip of the cartridge, attach the nozzle, and cut an aperture to the required width. Apply using a standard sealant gun.
3. Bonding: Apply the adhesive to one surface in strips or daubs. Bring the two surfaces together immediately and apply even pressure across the bond line.
4. Support: For heavy items, provide temporary support until the adhesive has dried.

Limitations

• Do not use on damp surfaces; use EVERBUILD® Gun A Nail® Standard for such applications.
• Not suitable as a mirror adhesive; use EVERBUILD® Mirror Mate® instead.
• Do not use on polystyrene, Styrofoam, or expanded polyurethane; use EVERBUILD® Gun A Nail® Standard for these materials.
• Heavy materials (greater than 8 kg per m²) must be supported for at least 8–24 hours depending on the size of the item.
• Solvents present may attack sensitive plastics. If in doubt, test a small area first.

Cleaning of Tools

Clean tools and excess adhesive immediately with white spirit. Cured adhesive must be removed mechanically.
