Multi-Purpose, Anti-Fungal, Waterproof Silicone Sealant

EVERBUILD® General Purpose Silicone is a high-quality, acetoxy-cure silicone sealant designed for sealing and bonding applications around the home and on site. It delivers a permanently flexible, waterproof seal and contains a powerful anti-fungal agent to resist mould growth, making it ideal for use in high-humidity environments.

• General internal and external sealing where a waterproof and flexible bond is required.

Product Details

• Packaging: 280ml cartridges; also available in 80ml Easi Squeeze tubes.
• Colours: White, Clear, Black, Brown, Grey.
• Cure Time: Approx. 2mm per 24 hours at 20°C/65% RH.
• Movement Capability: ±12.5% (EN 15651-1).
• Service Temperature Range: -30°C to +150°C.
• Shore A Hardness: ~20 (ISO 868).
• Shelf Life: 24 months in unopened cartridges stored between +5°C and +25°C.

Application Instructions

1. Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust or grease.
2. Cut the cartridge nozzle at an angle and apply using a standard sealant gun.
3. Smooth the sealant with a wetted tool or spatula within 5 minutes of application.
4. Allow to fully cure before exposing to water or painting (note: not overpaintable).

Limitations

• Not suitable for use with natural stone, or on surfaces that bleed oils, solvents, or plasticisers.
• Do not use in aquarium manufacture or in conjunction with edge sealants of double-glazing units.
• Not suitable for overpainting.
• Not suitable for use on bitumen or asphalt-based products.

Cleaning of Tools

Clean tools with white spirit immediately after use. Once cured, silicone can only be removed mechanically.
