Instructions for Use
- Check the existing post is sound and plumb; replace severely decayed timber.
- Slide the extender over the post until fully seated. Align to fence line.
- Tighten the quick-fit clamp evenly for a rigid, twist-resistant hold.
- Fix the new extension timber or trellis to the extender as required; re-check tightness after settling.
Limitations & Precautions
- Not a substitute for structural design where high wind uplift or lateral loads are present—assess the fence line accordingly.
- Ensure the existing post and base are sound; do not use on rotten or loose posts without repair.
- Treat any cut end grain on new timber with a suitable preservative.
