The Mahogany body is finished in a really cool Ebony, it's well balanced and offers a super comfortable playing experience. It features an awesome gold firebird pickguard which beautifully compliments this guitars stealthy nature. It's an iconic design and still catches the eye all these years after its initial 1963 release.
The Mahogany neck boasts a rounded bass profile and a 34" scale length, 20 frets and a 38.1mm nut width. It's a real joy to play and is more than just a rock machine, its smooth and versatile prefect for a wide range of styles. This bass also includes a super sweet Drop D Xtender tuner control, allowing you to drop tune the low E still at a moment’s notice
A pair of powerful Rexbucker T-Bird pickups provide plenty of output and low-end punch. The master tone control is equipped with a push/pull switch that puts the pickups into passive mode when it is pulled out. Rex’s signature is reproduced on the truss rod cover, and the backplate is embellished with a Rex Brown doodle
