Giorgio Beverly Hills was founded as a Rodeo Drive boutique in 1961 and entered fragrance in 1981 with the iconic Giorgio Eau de Toilette — one of the defining "power perfumes" of the 1980s. Ocean Dream came out in 1996 as a deliberate counterpoint: cool, minimalist, ocean-inspired, in a clean blue-glass bottle that mirrored the new-decade move from heavy florals to lighter, aquatic compositions.
