Guy Laroche Drakkar Noir Eau de Toilette 30ml is one of the great masculine classics of the 20th century — a powerful aromatic fougère launched in 1982 and signed by perfumer Pierre Wargnye. A bold, herbaceous opening of rosemary, lavender, basil, lemon and bergamot leads into a spicy heart of coriander, carnation, cinnamon and juniper, before settling into a deep base of leather, oakmoss, sandalwood, vetiver and amber.

Guy Laroche was a French haute couture house founded in Paris in 1957, and the brand's fragrance line — produced under licence — has been responsible for several modern classics, including Drakkar Noir. Launched in 1982 in the now-iconic black bottle, Drakkar Noir helped define the powerful, dark-aromatic masculine fragrances of the 1980s and won the 1985 FiFi Award for Most Successful Men's Fragrance.

How to wear it
