What Are Organic Walnut Halves?
A lovely, light, golden colour as they should be, walnuts are very nutritious food and are especially good for your brain. They certainly stand out, with their misshapen and knobbly appearance they look as odd as they are healthy, only matched by their creamy taste and moist yet crunchy texture.

Why Should I Get Organic Walnut Halves?
Walnuts are a rich source of heart-healthy monounsaturated fats and an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids in the form of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA).
Unlike many, our walnuts come with the skin on as it has been found to contain 90% of the phenols, including key phenolic acids, tannins, and flavonoids. The flaky, waxy skin can be slightly bitter to taste which is why many recipes call for this to be removed however It is recommended eating with the skin for maximum walnut goodness.
They will be enjoyed no matter how you eat them and they are ever so delicious on their own, but as a baking ingredient, the walnut is right at home, making the best cakes and confectionary, mixing especially well with chocolate & cacao.
Instructions For Use:
Soft crunch and delicate yet distinctive flavour lend itself perfectly to savoury dishes like salads, cheesy snacks and even soups. But of course walnut pieces are great to use in porridge, cereal, puddings, cakes, fruit salads and countless other sweet recipes.
Storage Instructions:
Store in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat and damp. Reseal when no longer in use or move to an airtight container.
