Tamiya Modelling Brush Basic Set
Every kit needs a broad brush, a general-purpose brush and something fine enough for canopy frames and tiny details — and Tamiya's basic set covers all three without you having to hunt around. The horse-hair bristles hold a decent point and don't fray after a couple of washes, and the wooden handles are shaped so your grip doesn't tire out halfway through a long painting session. A proper starting point if your current brush drawer is one bent nylon brush from a blister pack.
