Type D + E Camlock Pipe Connector Set

This kit includes a polypropylene Type D Camlock coupler and a matching-size Type E Camlock adapter, available in nominal sizes from 1/2" to 4". Both fittings share the same camlock dimension, ensuring the groove-ring on the Type E adapter engages perfectly with the cam arms of the Type D coupler.

The Type D coupler features a female cam-and-groove connection on one end and a matching BSP female thread on the other, making it ideal for screwing onto any male-threaded tank outlet or pipe. The Type E adapter provides the complementary male cam-and-groove groove-ring plus a hose-barb tail, allowing you to push flexible hose onto the barb and secure it with a clamp.

To assemble, first thread the Type D coupler into your vessel or system via its BSP female thread. Then slide your hose onto the Type E barb and clamp it. Finally, retract the spring-loaded cam arms on the Type D coupler, insert the Type E groove-ring, and release the arms to lock in place. This tool-free action creates a secure, leak-proof seal and converts a rigid, threaded outlet into a quick-disconnect hose line—perfect for filling, draining, spraying or fluid transfer tasks.

Constructed from durable polypropylene, both fittings resist chemicals, UV exposure and corrosion, ensuring long service life in agriculture, chemical processing, food production and other fluid-handling applications. By matching camlock size to thread and barb diameter, this kit guarantees seamless compatibility and a watertight connection every time. Always verify that polypropylene is suitable for your fluid and operating temperature.
