Performance & Turning Feel
Thanks to the maglev core, the Tornado V4 Pioneer has an extremely fast and fluid turning feel. Each move glides with minimal resistance, and the strong corner–core magnets help the layers snap precisely into place even during aggressive solves. Corner cutting is excellent, and the cube remains very stable at low and high tensions.
The dual-adjustment mechanism lets you customise both the tightness of the cube and how “bouncy” it feels. Whether you like a super-loose, ultra-fast setup or a slightly tighter, more controlled feel, you can easily dial in your ideal setting.

FAQs
Is the Tornado V4 Pioneer too fast for beginners?
The Pioneer can be made more controllable by tightening the tensions, but it is primarily designed for experienced speedcubers. If you are completely new to speedcubing, you may find the Flagship version easier to handle at first.
Does maglev make a big difference?
Yes – maglev removes spring friction, which gives the cube a faster and smoother feel, especially on looser settings. Many top solvers prefer maglev cubes because they retain speed even after heavy use.
Can I use the Tornado V4 Pioneer in competitions?
